Our HookIn2Hockey children, aged 4 to 10 are proudly called the Turtles.
Made up of children who are new to the sport, current members children or friends of friends, we are proud to have one of the largest Hin2H group in Canberra.

What is Hookin2Hockey?
Hookin2Hockey is a fun and exciting way to get involved in playing the great game of Hockey. Hookin2Hockey is Hockey Australia’s national recruitment program and thousands of children from all over the country have already enjoyed the introduction to Hockey through this program.
Hookin2Hockey provides children aged between 4-9 with an opportunity to participate in hockey with modified rules on a smaller sized playing area.

OCHC runs a Hookin2Hockey program at Red Hill Primary School on Saturday mornings, and an extra session on Thursday afternoons at the National Hockey Centre. Players participate in skill sessions with our skilled coaches and CL1/CL2 players. They then play modified size and ruled matches against other clubs to put those learnt skills into practice.
